We’re passionate about giving you an amazing birdwatching experience.

Meet Tony

Tony is lifelong birdwatcher who began appreciating birds at a young age. Over the years, his passion for ornithology has grown, leading him to become a knowledgeable guide for Florida Gulfcoast Birdwatching Tours. Tony’s deep understanding of bird behavior and habitats combined with his enthusiasm for sharing his love of birdwatching, makes him an excellent instructor/guide for both novice and experienced bird enthusiasts. Tony started birdwatching regularly in Rochester, NY where he experienced raptor migration at Braddock Bay, fantastic warblers migrating through his yard, and visiting amazing hotspots like the Montezuma Wetlands. In 2018 Tony and Patty began traveling internationally for birdwatching, and have been to places like Costa Rica, Ecuador, Trinidad & Tobago, Portugal and more. He has seen over 1000 bird species and counting.

Meet Patty

After traveling on a cruise which included a stop in Belize, Patty became hooked on birdwatching with her husband Tony. The experience in being captivated by the vibrant birdlife in Belize had ignited a deep interest in birdwatching and conservation. In 2023, her dedication and enthusiasm led her to become president of the local Audubon chapter. Patty now channels her love for birds into leadership, guiding conservation efforts, and inspiring others to appreciate and protect avian wildlife.
